Infinix Announces Xpad 20 Tablet With Helio G88 Chipset And 7,000 mAh Battery

Infinix has officially launched the Xpad 20, a new tablet aimed at the global market. While the device has been listed on the company’s website, specific details regarding pricing and regional availability remain undisclosed. Positioned as a budget-friendly option, the Xpad 20 combines a large display, modern Android software, and modest performance specifications to cater to cost-conscious users.

The Xpad 20 features an 11-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, touch sampling at 180 Hz, and offers a peak brightness of 440 nits. Additionally, the screen is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light emission, indicating a focus on eye comfort.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 processor, a mid-range chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2 GHz, paired with an ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It is available in configurations with 4 GB, 6 GB, or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128 GB or 256 GB of internal eMMC storage. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card up to 1 TB.

In terms of cameras, the Xpad 20 includes an 8 MP rear camera capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps, and a 5 MP front camera for selfies and video calls, recording at 720p and 30 fps.

The tablet runs Android 15 out of the box, making it one of the early adopters of Google’s latest operating system. Infinix promises two years of security updates, though it has not specified how many Android version upgrades will be provided.

Powering the device is a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 10W charging. Additional features include 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB-C port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Xpad 20 measures 257.67 x 169.22 x 7.9 mm and weighs 498 grams.

The device is available in four color options: Rising Red, Dreamy Purple, Forest Green, and Stellar Grey. However, Infinix has not yet disclosed pricing or a release timeline.
